Problem Statement
Columbia University's TAA was inaugurated during the Eisenhower years, but its “retro” look-and-feel mis-branded the organization as out-of-touch and backwards-looking - rather than as a dynamic, innovative organization involved in vital policy-making work in the US - and world.

Solution
The website was re-branded with focus on its two flagship programs, Knowledge Economies and Cities

Much of the design energy was applied to creating a nuanced approach to a fairly-complicated organizational structure, mixing "parent-and-children" hierarchies of Programs, Projects, Publications, Events and People.

The design was also themed within a responsive framework, to bring it in alignment with the broad range of devices Google Analytics indicated were being used to view the site.
